bad at blogging.com

dear diary,
today i saw a boyyy. i wonder if he noticed me...
lololol. just kidding dudes. i don't do much these days, so i don't have much to tell you about. a couple weeks ago, on a gorgeous sunday, steven and i went to mount tabor. mount tabor is an extinct volcano which is now a park. it's the only volcano within city limits in the US (or something like that, maybe major city limits). anyway it was beautiful and warm, unfortunately i wore shoes with holes in the souls, and tights and a dress, so i was ill equipped for hiking, but i did it anyway! it was so clear, the view of mount hood was perfect. that's one thing i love about it here, the air and sky and always crystal clear. no smog!

let's see what else... the building we live in is old (built in the 1920's) and the windows on our side of the building are old steel framed, and had to be repaired and worked on. this process began like the day we moved in. when we got to the apartment, our first day, there was a note saying that someone would be coming that day to inspect the condition of the windows. i didn't really think anything of this at first. then about a week later they came back again to inspect them again, wrote on all our windows and then took out the bathroom window and put up a piece of plywood. i actually think that process took a few days. so they keep coming back. week after week. they show up at 8am, stand in between the building and the neighboring one (where the sound reverberates horribly) and fucking yell about the windows. fuck you i'm trying to sleep. then they come in to the aparment, and since every room has one of these windows in it they have to work in each one. so you awkwardly have to try and go about your business while some dude is going in and out of any room you try to occupy. they kept saying over and over, 'this is the last week' or 'we'll be done tomorrow' but it would never happen. point of the story, they FINALLY FINISHED. we finally were able to arranged our furniture where we wanted it (everything was all pushed to the sides of the room because it could be in the way of the construction dudes.) i bought 5 Mucha posters, all of pretty ladies, and hung them up yesterday. actually steven hung them up because i was really bad at it.

the pic keeps getting cut off! it's nice having something other than a large blank wall. i'm all hopped up on coffee at the moment. steven is currently a cute sleeping burrito. i should be studying for geology or cleaning. that reminds me... school is good. my classes are really interesting, and i really like all of my teachers. i really want to go shopping but i'm poor so i shouldn't. i also REALLY want to sew but i don't have much fabric and i have no idea where any fabric stores are. i wish there was an SAS up here! fuck i miss that place. please come visit me!
